You should consider researching linux hardware controls and providing information in your reviews.
They’re is a project asusctl which gives linux users an armoury crate app experience in linux for ASUS laptops.
For this reason I only see ASUS as a valid company to buy from.

And now, I know it might be weird, but is there a chance to hear the opinion from others to two "older" laptops where I´m struggling to buy?
I´m between:
Lenovo LOQ 15IRX9 (i7-13650HX, 24GB RAM (upgradeable to 32GB), RTX4060(115W) and FHD Display (1000€)
or
Aorus 15 BKF-H3DE754SH (i7-13630H, 16GB RAM (upgradeable to 64GB), RTX4060(140W) and WQHD Display (1150€)
My playing is not there actually as I have a PS5 too, but will increase more to PC e.g. Anno 1800 (and Anno 117) and also kind of some games from XBOX if they release on PC, e.g. Fable 4. I guess I will play shared most of the time (maybe 60-70%) on a 27" QHD LG Monitor. Right now I´m tending more to the Lenovo but not sure if I mess out the Aorus´Display as this cannot be changed (e.g. RAM isnt that expensive and TGP 115W or 140W doesnt really matter). On the other side the CPU on Lenovo seems to be much better…
Or is it really worth it to spend 250€ even more and buy the Lenovo from above´s specs but with WQHD display….
I would like to hear others opinions. Its decades away that I was playing on PC, I remember that I loved my 3Dfx Voodoo GPU….
What would you prefer with these informations and what is more the long term solution to have some years of great experience?

I have the Asus ROG Strix G16 with a i9-13980HX, RTX 4070, 32gb ddr5 ram, and 3Tb of storage. It slays everything i throw at it on ultra settings. Avg around 150fps in most games at 2k.

I don’t get the fact that gaming laptop manufacturers are hamstringing AMD machines with lower-tier NVIDIA graphics. Only Razer appears not to do that with their new Blade 16. Options are nice.

hi i have the asus scar strix 17 laptop its fantastic but my only annoying problem i have is the palmrest and keys leaves marks when using . even to use a microfibre cloth can be useless. using foam cleaner is good but as usual it returns from using it in the day. i did notice they added the camera back to the screen on other versions, but i love its thin bezel. i just shove everything on ultra and play , but the asus scar strix 18 looks great i was wondering in your video where was the hard drive slot when removed the bottom.

the screens on the asus scar laptops and respons time is still the same as the 2024 which is disappointing. If you have the 4090 gpu it is not worth the upgrade unless money is no problem for you 🙂
There is no gaming laptop exist dude..i have g18 eith 4080 rtx with 14900xh…its worst the my desktop i9400f 3070 desktop..😂😂😂 some games my 3070 with 9400f gives more fps…so i do not recommend laptop if you are gamer..laptop watts are limited..and cooling is worst..so you will never reach desktop performance in laptops..%50 performance difference is huge..and laptops are very expensive but slower

Is the z13 compared with the 4060 laptop gpu or desktop ?
4K should be the baseline these days. My 2018 Dell has 4k touchscreen and while it is not a great computer,we should be at minimum the same resolution today.
